In a trial to expand the offering to our members, Castletown Library have entered into a reciprocal membership agreement with the The Henry Bloom Noble Library
(HBN)
Existing Castletown Library Members will need to call into the Library in Douglas to have a card issued to access the online facilities, however a HBN card entitles you to access the following in addition to the local service:
- Borrow up to 8 items including books and audiobooks
- Download up to 6 eBooks or audiobooks
- Download free eMagazines, comics and graphic novels
- Free access to online reference resources
- Free Wifi and 2 hr computer access whilst in Douglas.
Library members can also have a whole library at home using your PC, tablet or smart phone with members being able to download eBooks and audiobooks, eMagazines, comics and graphic novels and view our online reference material. You can also renew or reserve items and search our catalogue of physical stock online. The e-library is available 24/7 at www.douglaslibrary.im.
