The Commissioners regularly receive expressions of interest from start-up businesses who wish to operate within Castletown.
In order to formalise the process and allow the board to consider any proposals and the impact that they may have on existing rate paying businesses in the Town, the Commissioners seek expressions of interest from any individuals or organisations that may wish to trade from public land or property within the Commissioners portfolio within Castletown during 2021.
Public land is any land that Castletown Town Commissioners owns, manages or maintains, and is open for use to the public however if you have an idea for a location that is under the ownership of Central government such as the image above then we would be happy to open dialogue with the relevant Department on your behalf. The Commissioner’s would welcome ideas of your trading set-up, including any vehicles, tables, chairs and displays.
It would be if an aerial map with proposed trading location(s) could also be submitted.
