Accounts & Rates

Rates are collected on the Commissioners behalf by the IOM Treasury Rates Section

The rates have been set for 25/26 at 398p and a fixed charge of £230 for domestic refuse and sanitation.

These statements provide a summary of the Authority’s financial performance. They have been prepared in accordance with the Isle of Man Statement of Recommended Practice 2007 on accounting for entities subject to the Audit Act 2006.

Please note that accounts payable are put to the Board of Commissioners for approval at their public meeting on the first Monday of Month and are not settled on a weekly basis.

Castletown has, in common with a number of other local authorities experienced delays with the publication of audited accounts for the 22/23 and 23/24. It is anticipated that the accounts will be made available in the near future. A statement will be made once they are available for inspection.
