Statement Regarding Miss Quinney
With regret, and in accordance with the provisions of the Keys and Local Authorities Act 2020, it is noted that a member who fails to attend three consecutive meetings of a local authority without the consent of the authority is deemed to have vacated their seat.
As Miss Quinney has not attended three consecutive meetings of the Castletown Town Commissioners, and no formal permission for her absence has been recorded, it is with regret considered that she has vacated her office as a Commissioner by operation of the Act.
